The calm before the storm

Crosby and his folks took a morning beach stroll as we relaxed prior to the arrival of Earl. Keep bearing east, Mr. Earl, east.

Best Summer Ever

Truth be told, the finality of the CCSC summer and the return to Deerfield hit hard and hung heavy as we played on the beach a few hours prior to our departure. The sun was warm, however, and the water cool and calm. Crosby was aware of the mood as he strolled on the sand saying and waving, "Good-bye," to his playgound. How lucky he is - to be returning in 5 days.

Westward Bound

Packing up Cabin 30 was sad and sweaty, but the laughter was not silenced. These two did not travel so situated.

Daycare

Cfosby began the next phase of his life on Monday 8-30-2010 heading off to daycare (a short trip downstairs). It has not been easy, for anyone, nor wildly successful, yet, but he is strong and his teacher is kind. It is a great place.

Peter My Pal!

It had been too long since these boys had been together. While the first morning saw them looking past eachother, the second morning was a long run together and hug.

Jim Fay

Frances and Crosby at B.A.'s Sunday Bruch

These two have become good friends! They celebrated the end of the summer together and are now in school together.

Crosby's Garden

Crosby has loved the lawn at South Pond since day 1, ambling about the lillies and bushes, occassionally picking a beautiful blossom for his Mama. Here he seems to have found his perch.
