The Boy and his beach

We never could have hoped for Crosby to embrace the beach so completely, but there were some early indicators including a few days in his first winter when he his desire to play in the sand and dabble in the waves was undaunted by his fleece hat and gloves. Luckily the summer's warmth has thinned his wardrobe and the temperate bay waters now lap at his pale thighs.

Our summer housing is everything we need it to be, including our cozy porch which was latticed over this season to keep our young explorer safe. Despite its dimensions Crosby revelled in the fresh breeze, strong sun, and the steady flow of passersby.

Life at camp is packed with marvelous traditions. Crosby particularly enjoyed the energy during PMC and fiercely cheered on the riders, especcially his friendd Brian.

The Outer Beach

While his parents frequented the Outer Beach before his birth, their faithful Jeep, Betsy, moved on prior to Crosby's first summer. However, due to the kindness of Otis and Iggy Moyer Crosby has made two trips to the Outer Beach including the most recent in July.
